🔍 What Are Psalm Cylinders

Psalm Cylinders are collectible relics tied to the Vaultkeeper Cardinius in the Whispering Vaults. There are six total, and turning them in rewards you with Rosaries and unlocks unique Melodies that can be played on the gramophone in Cardinius’s chamber.

One of them, the Sacred Cylinder, is required to learn the Vaultkeeper’s Melody and fully complete his questline.

🗺 Locations of All 6 Psalm Cylinders

1. Whispering Vaults – Cardinius’s Chamber

From the Bench above Vaultkeeper’s room, drop down and climb the stack of boxes on the far right to reach the glowing Cylinder.

2. Whispering Vaults – Sacred Cylinder

Located in the Lower Vaults near the Underworks entrance. You’ll need to clear the gate to reach this area.

3. Songclave Border Path

Hidden in a secret passage connecting the Whispering Vaults to the Songclave. The route includes traps, gears, and updrafts — you’ll need good mobility upgrades to reach the room containing this Cylinder.

4. High Halls

Found behind metal railings and vertical spike-filled shafts. Break crooked railings, climb through the passages, and drop into a caged recess to claim it.

5. Whiteward – Surgeon’s Key Area

After defeating the Unravelled boss and using the Surgeon’s Key, head toward the Underworks entrance. From the landing, turn left, break through a hidden wall, and follow the corridor to the Cylinder.

6. Blasted Steps – Merchant Purchase

Available for sale from a merchant in this region. Bring enough Rosaries to buy it.

• Each Cylinder turned in to Vaultkeeper grants Rosaries and unlocks a new Melody.

• Returning the Sacred Cylinder also grants Hornet the Vaultkeeper’s Melody, advancing the Whispering Vaults storyline.
