Preparation: What You Need Before Starting

While the Easter Egg can technically be started on Round 1, preparation saves time later.
Highly recommended equipment:
-
Apothicon Servant (Mystery Box only)
-
Lil’ Arnies (Mystery Box)
-
A Pack-a-Punched bullet weapon
-
Strong crowd control (Thunder Gun if available)
GobbleGums that slow zombies or generate ammo make later steps significantly easier, especially solo.
Step 1: Shoot the Graves in the Correct Order
Immediately after spawning, turn toward the floating islands on the left side of the starting area. You’ll see four graves, each tied to a Primis character.
Shoot them in this order:
-
Richtofen
-
Dempsey
-
Takeo
-
Nikolai
If done correctly, a lightning sound confirms the step is complete.
Step 2: Activate Power and Unlock Pack-a-Punch
There are four Corruption Engines located across the map:
-
Spawn
-
Mob of the Dead
-
Der Eisendrache
-
Verrückt
Each costs 500 points to activate. Defend them until the charging sequence ends.
Once all are active:
-
Enter the portals to reach Nacht der Untoten
-
Wait for the Apothicon to pass through
-
Interact with the terminal upstairs to trap it
-
Enter its mouth and shoot the glowing yellow sacs
Pack-a-Punch is now unlocked.
Step 3: Build the Keeper Protector
You’ll need three components scattered across multiple sub-areas:
-
Keeper Crystal
-
Keeper Head
-
Keeper Banner
Each has multiple spawn locations across Der Eisendrache, Kino der Toten, Verrückt, Mob of the Dead, and Origins.
Once collected, build the Keeper Protector at:
-
Verrückt
-
Kino der Toten
-
Der Eisendrache
Summoning the Keeper costs 5,000 points.
Step 4: Complete the Keeper Protector Ritual
Find a Jump Pad with a strange rock shard embedded nearby. Valid Jump Pads include:
-
Verrückt → Kino
-
Mob of the Dead → Verrückt
-
Shangri-La → Spawn
Summon the Keeper and lure him to the Jump Pad. Carefully position yourself until he begins chanting. Defend him for three minutes.
After completion:
-
Pick up the audio reel
-
Play it on the radio next to Jugger-Nog in Nacht der Untoten
Step 5: Acquire and Upgrade the Apothicon Servant
The Apothicon Servant is mandatory and only obtainable via the Mystery Box.
To upgrade it:
-
Locate five blue rocks outside the map
-
Shoot each rock using the Apothicon Servant
-
Listen for the confirmation sound
After all five are collected, return to Pack-a-Punch and upgrade it into Estoom-Oth.
Step 6: Collect the Bones of Sophia
Using the upgraded Apothicon Servant:
-
Shoot hidden rocks across Spawn, Shangri-La, Origins, Verrückt, Der Eisendrache, Mob of the Dead, and Nacht der Untoten
-
Each rock spawns a floating bone—destroy it
After all bones are collected:
-
Go to Nacht der Untoten
-
Shoot the bone pile near Jugger-Nog
-
Kill the special zombie with the Apothicon Servant
-
Take the audio reel to the radio at the Origins mound
Step 7: Use Lil’ Arnies in the Apothicon
Inside the Apothicon’s stomach are nine holes along the walls.
Throw one Lil’ Arnie into each hole:
-
Every third Arnie spawns Margwas
-
Kill them before continuing
After all nine are done:
-
Pick up the audio reel
-
Play it on the radio in Kino der Toten
Step 8: Summon SOPHIA
Return to each Corruption Engine and:
-
Use the laser turret
-
Aim at hidden blue crystals outside the map
Once all four are aligned, interact with SOPHIA in Nacht der Untoten and follow her to Kino der Toten.
You’ll teleport to the House and collect the Kronorium. Place it on the podium in Kino to begin the final sequence.
Step 9: Find and Hatch the Gateworm Eggs
There are four Gateworm eggs, each with multiple spawn points across:
-
Spawn & Shangri-La
-
Kino der Toten & Der Eisendrache
-
Origins & Mob of the Dead
-
Verrückt
Carry one egg at a time to the Apothicon and place it in the incubation pods. Kill zombies nearby to fill them with souls until they hatch.
Step 10: Locate the Runes of Creation
Pick up each hatched Gateworm and follow the audio cue vibration to its rune location.
Runes appear in areas like:
-
Spawn
-
Origins
-
Mob of the Dead
-
Shangri-La
-
Der Eisendrache
-
Verrückt
Plant each Gateworm and activate its rune.
Step 11: Rune Trials and the Summoning Key
Teleport to the projector room in Kino der Toten and enter the purple portal.
Inside:
-
Watch the Kronorium reveal symbol sequences
-
Activate symbols in the correct order
-
Survive four unique Margwa challenge waves
After completing all trials, collect the Summoning Key.
Step 12: Use the Summoning Key Across the Map
Throw the Summoning Key at seven specific objects across:
-
Kino der Toten
-
Der Eisendrache
-
Shangri-La
-
Origins
-
Mob of the Dead
-
Verrückt
-
Nacht der Untoten
Once all targets are hit, the key is removed automatically.
Step 13: Final Boss – Defeat the Shadow Man
Enter the Kino teleporter to begin the boss fight.
Steps:
-
Charge a green altar with zombie souls
-
Throw the Summoning Key at SOPHIA
-
Shoot the Shadow Man until he enters the Apothicon
-
Interact with the Kronorium to finish the fight
The final cutscene will play, marking completion.
