This mission continues Celeste’s scientific investigation storyline and introduces you to one of the most unique locations in the region: a sprawling set of overgrown, dome-shaped bio-labs filled with forgotten experiments.

This fully unique guide explains how to reach the Hydroponic Domes, where to find the correct data archive, how to upload the extracted research to a Field Depot, and what rewards you’ll receive upon completion.

Quest Overview – What Untended Garden Requires

Celeste tasks you with tracking down abandoned botanical research stored in the dome network north of the Dam. Your objectives are:

1. Travel to the Hydroponic Dome Complex

2. Access the data archive inside the correct dome

3. Upload the recovered data to a working Field Depot

There are no extractable quest items or Safe Pocket requirements, but the third step can be a challenge because Field Depots activate randomly each match.

Step 1: Reach the Hydroponic Dome Complex

The Hydroponic Dome Complex is located in the northernmost zone of the Dam Battlegrounds. It is marked as a high-value area, making it one of the most recognizable landmarks on the map.

What the Domes Look Like

You’ll see:

• Large, white-green biodomes

• Glass panels and metal entry tunnels

• Dense vegetation clusters

• A Nature-tagged zone indicator

Once you enter the overall complex, the first quest objective completes immediately.

Objective Completed:

✔ Reach the Hydroponic Dome Complex

A new directive now appears: Access the data archive in one of the domes.

Step 2: Find and Access the Data Archive

Although multiple domes exist, only one dome contains the data archive required for the quest.

Correct Dome Location

• The northwestern dome

• Identified by its placement above the Nature-tag symbol on the map

Approach and enter this dome through any of its access points.

Finding the Archive

Once inside:

• Follow the quest marker

• Look for a machine station inside the interior research area

• Interact with the console to download the archived research

This interaction is quick and does not require breaching.

Objective Completed:

✔ Access the data archive in one of the domes

Immediately afterward, you receive the next task:

Upload the data to the computer terminal in any Field Depot.

Step 3: Upload the Data at a Field Depot

Field Depots are small tactical outposts scattered around the Dam Battlegrounds. Each Depot contains:

• A small terminal

• Supply lockers

• A workbench-style structure

Important Note:

Not every Field Depot is active each run. Their operational status is randomized, meaning you may need to check more than one.

Closest Field Depot to the Dome Complex

The most convenient option is directly outside the southwestern exit of the northwestern dome. It’s practically next door to the Hydroponic Domes, making it the ideal first location to check.

If This Depot Is Active

Perfect—interact with the small computer terminal to upload the data and complete the quest.

If It’s Inactive

You’ll need to search the map for another Depot. Look for:

• Blue-white Depot signs

• Mini-settlements with a table, crate racks, and a workstation

Running the perimeter around the Water Treatment facility and the foothills north of the Dam often leads to additional Depots.

Why Field Depot Availability Is Random

ARC Raiders intentionally adds unpredictability to its quest structure. Some lobbies will spawn multiple active depots, while others may leave you searching far longer. This is meant to push exploration and reinforce the extraction shooter pacing.

Because of that randomness, always be prepared to move across the map if the first Depot isn’t active.

Completing the Upload

Once you find a working terminal:

• Walk up to the console screen

• Interact to upload the dome’s research data

• Wait for the progress bar to finish

This completes the final objective.

Quest Rewards

After the upload, the Untended Garden quest rewards you with:

• 3× Advanced Mechanical Components

• 3× Medium Gun Parts

• 5× Canisters

These items are extremely valuable for upgrading your Workshop and crafting mid-tier gear.
