Battlefield 6: Best Assault Class Loadouts (Breach, Burn, and Breakthrough)

The Assault class in Battlefield 6 is still the spearhead of any push—but it’s no longer just “run fast, shoot faster.” With breaching tools, deploy beacons, and ladder gadgets, Assault can open doors for the squad, create new sightlines, and keep pressure on objectives. Below are four meta-ready builds for different maps and modes, plus practical tips to pilot each one like a pro.

CQB Breacher — “Kick the Door In”

Battlefield 6 - Best Assault Class Loadouts

Ideal on: Empire State, Saint’s Quarter, interior sectors of Breakthrough
Playstyle: Entry fragging, room clearing, instant tempo

Primary: M433 (aggressive AR setup: short barrel, comp, fast mag, 1x optic)
Secondary (Sling): M87A1 shotgun (tight choke, fast swap)
    Gadget: Breaching Projectile Launcher
Grenade: Stun (or Flash if your server allows)
    Melee: Sledgehammer
    Field Spec: Breacher

    How it wins:

    • Breaching Projectile Launcher functions like a wall-bang flash. Tag the room through a thin surface, swing on the detonation, and delete dazed defenders.

    • If a doorway is hard-held, make a new one—the sledgehammer opens unexpected lines, letting your team trade more safely.

    • The M433 is your workhorse within 5–25 meters; swap to the M87A1 for stairwells and hard corners where one-shot potential matters.

    Micro-tips:

    • Chain breach shot → Stun → entry; don’t give defenders time to reset.

    • Aim for double entries with a teammate; your utility guarantees the first two trades.

    Grenadier — “Delete Their Cover”

Ideal on: Open-lane maps, exterior sectors, Rush defense
Playstyle: Area denial, softening pushes, creating off-angles

Primary: SOR-556 or M277 (2.0–2.5x optic, recoil control build)
    Gadget 1: M320A1 HE Launcher
    Gadget 2: Assault Ladder
Grenade: Frag (Thermobaric launcher later if unlocked)
    Field Spec: Breacher

    How it wins:

    • The M320A1 crushes sandbags, windows, and deployable cover—remove the headglitch, then farm the bodies that panic-move out of it.

    • The Assault Ladder creates “illegal” angles: pop up on signage, balcony lips, or truck roofs to rain HE on anchor positions.

    • You’re a force multiplier for LMGs and snipers behind you; as soon as you clear cover, your backline shreds.

    Micro-tips:

    • Two quick HEs into a common headglitch → hold angle with SOR-556; the follow-up pick is free.

    • On Rush, HE the M-COM corners first; then frag the entry paths.

    Infiltrator — “Never-Ending Spawns”

Ideal on: Breakthrough attack, tight Conquest flags
Playstyle: Objective cycling, spawn pressure, attrition wins

    Primary: Any close–mid weapon (M4A1/M277 with 1x–1.5x)
    Gadget 1: Deploy Beacon
    Gadget 2: Assault Ladder
Grenade: Frag (or Smoke for safer setups)
    Field Spec: Frontliner

    How it wins:

    • Frontliner gives you increased regen and grants Adrenaline Injector effects to squadmates who spawn on you or your Deploy Beacon—that’s free tempo on every respawn.

    • Hide beacons in vertical rat holes only reachable with the ladder: awnings, signage backs, HVAC clusters. The farther from common sweep routes, the better.

    • Your role is to anchor the beachhead: plant the beacon, win two fights, and suddenly you have relentless waves spawning behind you.

    Micro-tips:

    • After a wipe, re-seed the beacon immediately—assume it’s compromised once defenders notice new angles.

    • Ladder to rooftops, then drop the beacon one level down (harder to see from ground & sky).

Skirmisher Assault — “Edge of the Point”

Ideal on: Mixed sightline maps, rotating fights, solo queue
Playstyle: Constant flanks, pick-and-go, utility duels

Primary: TR-7 or AK4D (hybrid optic 1x/2x, mobility focus)
Gadget 1: M320A1 HE or Smoke Launcher (map dependent)
    Gadget 2: Breaching Projectile Launcher
Grenade: Frag or Impact (fast clears)
    Field Spec: Frontliner

    How it wins:

    • Use Smoke Launcher to cross deadly lanes or to isolate 1v1s at the point edge.

    • Breaching rounds let you insta-clear angles without face-checking—think “peek with utility.”

    • The gun build favors ADS strafe and quick transitions; you’ll constantly pinch from off-angles, not brute-force front doors.

    Micro-tips:

    • Smoke → breach → swing from the unflashed side; defenders often look the wrong way first.

    • If your team stalls, rotate wide and become the second front—Skirmisher shines when you split their attention.

Map & Mode Pairings (Cheat Sheet)

    • Breakthrough Attack: Infiltrator (beacon abuse), swap to Breacher for final sector interiors.

    • Breakthrough Defense: Grenadier to strip cover; switch to Breacher to retake buildings.

    • Conquest 64: Start Skirmisher for rotates, pocket Grenadier for dense flags.

    • Rush: Grenadier on defense (M-COM clears), Breacher on attack (fast plants).

    Attachment Cues (Keep It Simple)

    • CQB AR (M433/M4A1): short barrel + compensator + fast mag + 1x; prioritize ADS/strafe.

    • Mid AR/Carbine (SOR-556/M277): extended/precision barrel + vert/angled grip + 2x; prioritize recoil control.

    • Shotgun (M87A1): tight choke + quick swap; you’re not clearing fields, just stairwells.

    Mistakes That Kill Momentum

    • No utility before entry. If you’re not breaching or stunning first, you’re coin-flipping trades.

    • Beacon in obvious spots. Corners and bushes get swept; vertical is king.

    • Laddering into sightlines. Place ladder one panel left/right of the intended peek to avoid insta-headshots.

    Quick Loadout Recap
