Below are the ordered objectives and tips for how to complete them smoothly:

| 1. Accept Mission & Find the Portrait | Talk to Claptrap to start. Head east toward the Order base at The Flarewell. Inside, defeat a named enemy known as the “Big Orange Hothead” to get a keycard. |
| 2. Reach the Depot & Find Entrance | Move southeast from the Order base to the depot. Find a switch to open a path, but since a door may be broken, you’ll need to go through a damaged wall and use a remote lever to gain entrance. |
| 3. Retrieve the Portrait | Once inside the depot, climb a ladder in an orange-lit room, drop down a hole, and proceed through corridors to the shrine room with multiple pictures. Collect the “Tasteful Portrait” from a table. |
| 4. Retrieve VR-ON1CA’s Processor | Next, exit the depot and head south toward a bunker. Use grappling points on the central building to access windows or higher ledges. Inside the bunker, solve a laser-panel alignment puzzle: rotate solar panels so a laser beam passes through multiple panels to reach the bunker. Then retrieve the processor from a crate. |
| 5. Find the Crimson Resistance Asset & Mask | Climb out of the bunker via climbing walls on the left side. Ascend the tower outside, using rotating panels if present. At the top, find a red “porter potty” behind which lies Rustknuckle’s mask (the Crimson Resistance asset). |
| 6. Return to Claptrap to Place Items | Head back to where you met Claptrap at Hungering Plain. Acquire explosives from a table there. Then place the portrait, voice module, and processor (the items you collected) plus the explosives onto marked spots on a raft by the water. |
| 7. Finish the Mission | Wait for Claptrap to push the raft out. Then shoot the explosives on the raft to destroy it, completing the mission. |
