How the Escalation Directive Event Works

The Escalation Directive Event is structured around weapon-class challenges. Instead of earning rewards passively, players must complete specific objectives tied to:

• Co-Op & Endgame

• Multiplayer

• Zombies

• Warzone

Each mode offers:

• 1 Base (Universal) Camo

• 1 Mastery Camo (unlocked after completing all weapon class challenges)

In total, there are four base camos and four Mastery camos — one set per mode.

Additionally, completing any nine weapon challenges unlocks the SG-12 Shotgun.

• LMGs – 10 triple kills without reloading

Mastery Camo: Radioactive

Unlocked after completing every Multiplayer weapon challenge.

• Launchers – 100 Armored Zombie kills

• Melee – 300 eliminations with Tier 2 armor

Mastery Camo: Rive

Complete all Zombies weapon challenges to unlock Rive.

Zombies is the most grind-heavy mode but offers reliable farming through long survival sessions.

Warzone Event Camos

Warzone challenges are widely considered the fastest route to both early rewards and the SG-12 unlock.

Base Camo: Phased

Requirements include:

• Assault Rifles – 30 loadout eliminations

• SMGs – 10 moving kills

• Shotguns – 5 ADS kills

• LMGs – 2 kills in a match (3 times)

• Marksman Rifles – 3 kills in a single life

• Snipers – 5 Longshot kills

• Pistols – 3 eliminations

• Launchers – 3 vehicle destructions

• Melee – 3 kills

Mastery Camo: Ionize

Unlocked after completing all Warzone weapon challenges.

These objectives are relatively lightweight compared to Zombies and Multiplayer, making Warzone the most efficient mode for unlocking the SG-12 quickly.

How to Unlock the SG-12 Shotgun

The SG-12 Shotgun requires completing any nine weapon challenges during the event.

You do not need to complete an entire mode.

Fastest Strategy:

• Complete all Warzone challenges (9 total).

• Unlock SG-12 immediately.

After the event ends, the SG-12 will move to the Armory for players who missed it — but camo rewards will not return.

Event Duration

The Escalation Directive Event runs for two weeks:

• Start: February 12 at 10 AM PT

• End: February 26 at 10 AM PT

All camo rewards are limited-time exclusives.

If you miss them, they will not be obtainable afterward.
