Where to Find the Secret Room at Shiny Shafts

Shiny Shafts is located on the western side of the map, featuring a multi-level underground mine filled with grind rails and hidden tunnels. The secret room is tucked inside the hillside just south of the main POI, but accessing it requires players to activate three pressure valves spread across the area.

🔹 Tip: Since Shiny Shafts is an active combat zone, make sure to grab a weapon before attempting to unlock the secret room.

How to Open the Shiny Shafts Secret Room

The entrance to the secret room is locked behind a set of double doors, which can only be opened by activating three separate pressure valves. These valves must be triggered within a short time window, or the puzzle will reset.

Step 1: Activate the First Pressure Valve

📍 Location: North side of Shiny Shafts, near a grind rail

• The first pressure valve is located on the far north side of Shiny Shafts.
• Look for a grind rail leading toward the south side of the area.
• Once you spot the pressure valve, interact with it to activate the first step of the puzzle.

Step 2: Activate the Second Pressure Valve

📍 Location: At the end of the grind rail leading south

• After activating the first valve, hop onto the grind rail in front of you and ride it all the way south into the hillside.
• The second pressure valve is located right at the end of the grind rail.
• Interact with the valve to progress to the final step.

Step 3: Activate the Final Pressure Valve & Open the Secret Room

📍 Location: Down the staircase near the southside entrance

• After activating the second valve, take a right turn and ignore the first staircase.
• Jump down to a lower set of stairs and find the third pressure valve next to a set of double doors.
• Interact with the final valve, and the doors will unlock, revealing the hidden treasure room!

What’s Inside the Secret Room?

Once inside, players can loot a variety of valuable items, including:

✅ Multiple Chests – Standard loot with ammo and weapons
✅ Rare Chest – Higher chance of Epic or Legendary weapons
✅ Gold Bars – Useful for buying Boons or Black Market items
✅ Slurp Barrels – Instantly restore health and shields
✅ Possible Boon Spawns – Some players have reported finding Boons inside the room

After looting, players can exit through the same double doors or use a port-a-potty escape route.
