You’ll need a total of 40 Apple items (20 of each type) and 400 Applin Candy to evolve Applin into both Flapple and Appletun.

These Apple evolution items are only available during specific events—such as Sweet Discoveries. Here’s how to gather them:

• Tapping Apple Icons: Found during the event on the map; may drop either Sweet or Tart Apples.

There’s no way to force which type of Apple you’ll receive, so collecting extras is a good strategy to ensure you get both kinds.

Step 4: How to Get Flapple in Pokémon GO

Once you have 20 Sweet Apples and 200 Applin Candy, follow these steps:

1. Select an Applin in your Pokémon list.

2. Tap “Evolve.”

3. If you have enough Sweet Apples, you’ll see the option to evolve into Flapple.

4. Confirm and complete the evolution.

🛑 Shiny Appletun is also not available at this time. Like Flapple, a future event will likely introduce its shiny form.
