Before embarking on this quest, make sure you meet these prerequisites:

1. Raise your overall player level to at least 30.

2. Visit the Elderwood region at least once—it needn’t be a full playthrough.

3. Complete the early-game introduction quest “Learning the Ropes.”

Once you’ve ticked all boxes, return to your Housing Plot and speak with Auni—your friendly bug-hunting neighbor. She’ll share rumors of a mysterious cave she stumbled upon and be ready to guide you deeper into the woodland secrets.

🕵️ Locating the Hidden Cave Entrance

From your housing zone, fast-travel to Elderwood Central Stables, then hop over to De Mer Dock. Here’s how to find the elusive entrance:

• From the Dock waypoint, travel northwest along the cliffside.

• Keep an eye out for a narrow rocky outcropping and a miniature footbridge adjacent to the southwest Red Blossom Cave entrance.

• The Hidden Cave lies just off its side—a tight entrance that’s easy to overlook, so stay observant.

Step inside and enjoy a brief cutscene with Auni and Nai’o, who will accompany you further into the cave’s depths.

Travel with Auni and Nai’o to a door marked with an ancient symbol. When you reach it:

1. Chat with them twice more.

2. They’ll direct you to the left-hand door marked “Hidden Cave.”

3. Proceed through to discover the internal chamber and the centerpiece of this quest—a sliding puzzle.

Inside the cavern chamber, you’ll encounter a 4×4 sliding tile puzzle. The goal? Arrange the tiles to complete a coherent image, likely of a pirate-themed artifact. Here’s a clean, step‑by‑step solution:

1. Top-left corner: Position the second tile down first to anchor the design.

2. Proceed row by row, working from left to right, then move downwards.

3. Finally, address the bottom-right section, where any remaining stray tiles can be shifted into place.

If familiar with sliding puzzles, approach it methodically; otherwise, use the “one-line-at-a-time” technique—solve each row fully before descending.

Upon completion, the tiles click into place and a treasure chest is revealed behind the wall.
