Tier Sets Introduction

Like in past expansions, tier sets are powerful armor sets that give your character a significant boost for DPS, HPS, or tanking abilities. Once you get 2 tier set pieces, you unlock the first bonus, which changes or upgrades one of your spec key abilities. When you get 4 pieces, you’ll get another powerful bonus.

Usually the item level of the tier set is not as important as the bonuses it gives you. So if you plan to play in Dragonflight high-end content, no matter if it is PvP or PvE, you can’t make it without a set.

How do I get Dragonflight Tier Sets?

There haven’t been many changes in the general scheme of things. Primalist Class Tier Sets are made up of five pieces of armour and can be obtained by collecting tokens dropped by The Vault of the Incarnates raid bosses. Tokens come in four varieties, with item levels ranging from 389 to 398 for Normal, 402 to 411 for Heroic, and 415 to 424 for Mythic. Beginning with the fourth boss, various ilvl loot and tokens drop. Here’s a list of them:

• Evoker, Monks, Rogues, and Warriors share Zenith Tokens.

• Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Warlocks all have Dreadful Tokens.

• Druids, Hunters, and Mages all have access to Mystic Tokens.

• Venerated Tokens — distributed among Paladins, Priests, and Shamans.

There is another way to obtain the set. The Creation Catalyst was introduced in 9.2 and allowed players to reforge their gear into set pieces. This feature will be known as the Inspiration Catalyst in Dragonflight. This means that players will not have to raid to obtain the set. Please keep in mind that The Inspiration Catalyst will be available six weeks after the Mythic Vault of the Incarnates opens. That would be around January 23, 2023. There is no additional information available at this time.

Tier Sets Bonuses in Dragonflight

Giving two and four pieces of the set unlocks bonuses that significantly boost your character’s power. Players will not be able to avoid them.
