    Welcome to the comprehensive WoW Dreaming Crests Guide, your essential pathway to success in the World of Warcraft (WoW). In this guide, we’ll delve into the intricacies of the Dreaming Crests, how to get them, and how to use them effectively.

    With the introduction of the Dragonflight patch 10.1, WoW revolutionized gear upgrades, adding a new system that has since been refined further in patch 10.2. The most significant aspect of these changes is the introduction of the Dreaming Crests. This guide is designed to help you navigate the recent changes and make the most of your gaming experience. Let’s get started.

    Upgrade System Changes

    The Dragonflight patch 10.1 marked the commencement of a new gear upgrade system in WoW. However, the upcoming patch 10.2 brings modifications to this system. While the majority of these changes are advantageous for players, those engaged in high-level group content might find their upgrade pace slightly hampered once Guardians of the Dream releases.

    Crests: What You Need to Know

    The first major alteration is the removal of Fragments from the upgrade system, leaving Crests as the sole reward. This doesn’t translate to faster upgrades. Instead, it’s a quality of life improvement, as there’s now a need for Crests in multiples of 15. Furthermore, Crests will now be stored on your currency tab, freeing up much-needed bag space.

    How to Acquire Dreaming Crests

    Once you reach the weekly cap for a certain activity level’s Crests, the game will automatically start rewarding you with Crests for a lower level. This means, if you’ve received the maximum number of Aspect Crests for the week, subsequent activity at that level will provide Wyrm Crests instead of nothing.

    Upgrade Rules

    The rules for upgrading your Crests will be established in patch 10.2. However, the conditions to upgrade are strict; the Crest you wish to upgrade from must no longer be relevant for any pieces of equipped gear.

    Upgrade Tracks and Caps

    With patch 10.2, both the Hero and Myth upgrade tracks will extend their lengths by one, reaching 6 and 4, respectively. This will allow players to eke out a little more power for Hero and Myth items. However, be aware that the upgrade cap is dropping from 10 to 6, meaning you won’t be able to collect more than 90 Crests of each type each week.

    PVP and Dreaming Crests

    PVP activities are also getting an upgrade, with Honor being benched in favor of Flightstones and Crests for upgrading the PVE stats on their PVP gear. This will help players who do a mix of content keep their gear current and should make it less likely to need to maintain two sets of gear for different activities.

    Tips and Tricks

    Here are some tips and tricks to maximize your WoW Dreaming Crests game:

    Always keep an eye on your Crests count;

    Focus on activities that reward the most Crests;

    Regularly check your gear to see which Crests are no longer relevant;

    Always upgrade your Crests when possible;

    Keep up with the updates on the WoW Dreaming Crests system.

    The WoW Dreaming Crests Guide is your ultimate solution to understanding and making the most of the new upgrade system in WoW. Remember, the key to success is staying informed and adaptable. Happy gaming!
