    The Asylum Sanctorium Trial

The Asylum Sanctorium Trial is a thrilling group activity that can be found in the Clockwork City of The Elder Scrolls Online. In order to access this trial, you will need to have the Clockwork City DLC. Asylum Sanctorium offers multiple versions, including the veteran mode and various boss combinations, such as the Mainboss + 1 Miniboss Poison Boss and the Mainboss + 1 Miniboss Dualwield Boss. Each version presents its own unique challenges and rewards, ensuring an exciting and dynamic gameplay experience.

    Group Setup

To maximize your chances of success in the Asylum Sanctorium Trial, it is recommended to have a well-balanced group setup. We recommend running with 2 Healers, 1 Maintank, 1 Offtank, and 8 Damage Dealers. It is crucial to have damage dealers with abilities that can interrupt the Poison Boss from casting deadly attacks. Healers should also run Purge to cleanse enemy Damage over Time effects. Additionally, magicka setups should utilize Harness Magicka, while stamina setups should use Deadly Cloak for added survivability.

    Boss Fights

    Saint Llothis the Pious

Saint Llothis the Pious is one of the challenging bosses you will encounter in the Asylum Sanctorium Trial. To defeat him, it is important to prioritize killing the adds in a timely manner, as they have low health and can be stacked next to the main boss. Failure to kill the adds quickly will result in their enrage, potentially leading to the demise of your entire group. The boss has two particularly dangerous attacks: Defiling Blast and Oppressive Bolts. Defiling Blast targets a player, who must stand still while others move out of the green conal area. Players within the conal area must block the pulses to avoid being one-shot. Oppressive Bolts must be interrupted by the tank or another player to prevent the boss from unleashing poison balls onto the group.

    Saint Felms the Bold

Another formidable boss in the Asylum Sanctorium Trial is Saint Felms the Bold. To overcome this boss, you must strategically position two players outside the group, one on the left and one on the right side. These players will “catch” the Teleport Strike attack, which leaves a large red AoE on the ground. Saint Felms always jumps to the furthest person away. The AoE also applies a Maim debuff to players, reducing their damage output. Manifest Wrath, an explosive attack, must be avoided by stacking close to the boss and spreading out when the attack occurs. It is crucial to kill the adds quickly, as they can enrage if left alive for too long.

    Saint Olms the Just

The final and most challenging boss in the Asylum Sanctorium Trial is Saint Olms the Just. This boss requires careful positioning and coordination from the entire group. Tank the boss towards the right side of the map, while a healer or damage dealer stands in front of the boss to kite the shock fields that would otherwise land on the maintank. Saint Olms will periodically jump to different sides of the room, and it is crucial to move to safe spots at the entrance or exit to avoid his attacks. Spheres will spawn throughout the fight, and it is important to focus down these spheres as they render the boss immune to damage. The execute phase, triggered when Saint Olms reaches 25% health, introduces a challenging mechanic called “Trial by Fire.” This phase requires players to be in purge range to immediately cleanse the enemy Damage over Time effects.

These sets are highly sought after and are often included in end-game builds.
